Within easy reach are beaches to the north and south as well as attractions such as Dartmoor, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, Exeter cathedral and much much more. North Tawton has a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, post office and banking facilities. Okehampton offers large supermarkets and weekly farmers' market. Golfing, fishing and numerous other activities are all available within easy reach. Westacott will appeal especially to those seeking peace and tranquillity as well as walkers and nature lovers.
